8 Simple Productivity Tips

We all have times where we lack productivity, we feel like we aren’t getting anything done no matter how hard we are working. However, here are some tips that are guaranteed to boost productivity.

1.  Time is an extremely valuable resource, but is limited. Make sure you prioritise your tasks and use your time well. If you are often in meetings, try to reduce the itme spent and see if what is on the agenda is really necessary.

2.  Delegate similar tasks to one employee who has the best skills for the job. This would mean their time would be used for efficiently and the job would be done to the best of your companies ability.

3.  It’s a good idea to take time out and review progress often. You need to review how the company is running and decide on any changes you need to make.

4.  Do the jobs you hate first. Once you have these out of the way, you won’t have a daunting feeling anymore so you can focus more.

5.  Try to keep a to-do list. If you’re anything like me, you have to clear the list or it bugs you. As above, list the most tedious jobs first and try to work down the list, it will help keep you on track.

6.  Think about how you communicate with employees. Drafting an email can often take much longer than needed, often phone calls can get much quicker results.

7. Finally, plan your work week and then break it down to day by day. This will help you manage your tasks much more efficiently.
